CINCINNATI EASTERN RAILROAD (OHIO)
The Cincinnati Eastern Railroad (reporting mark CCET) is a 69.8 mile shortline railroad based in Ancor, Ohio, operating from the Norfolk Southern's Clare Yard in Mariemont, Ohio to Peebles (Plum Run), Ohio. Principal commodities hauled by the CCET include aggregates, limestone, corn, raw crossties, and paper. The CCET was founded by the Homestead Rail Group in 2016, taking over operations from the Frontier Rail owned Cincinnati East Terminal Railway (which itself took over operations of the line from Norfolk Southern in 2014). CCET also provides storage and multiple transloading options.
On July 3, 2024, Regional Rail, LLC acquired the Cincinnati Eastern Railroad from Homestead Rail Group.
CCET interchanges with Norfolk Southern and Indiana and Ohio Railway (IORY) at Cincinnati (Mariemont).
